BIO
I was born in Nakhon Si Thammarat, Thailand, on 25 July 1986 and now live in Germany. In my Art I have combined my fascination with drawing facial contours and fashion to form a characteristic aesthetic reflecting my individuality and soul.
I was exposed to art and painting since my childhood because my father is an artist for thai traditional art. My sister and brother are artists to. When I graduated in high school, I decided to study bachelor's degree at Silpakorn University in Faculty of Decorative Arts majoring in Interior Design. However, while I studied in university, I realized that I had a passion for fashion design. Thus, after graduation from Silpakorn University, I enroled in the fashion course at Bunka Fashion Academy Thailand, an affiliate of one of the best fashion schools in the world based in Japan where eventually I was awarded a scholarship to study at Bunka Fashion College in Tokyo for 3 years. Studying in Tokyo inspired me so much, both within and beyond the classroom, including other artwork like Japanese manga and animation, which are famous around the world. I also felt that Japanese people are very tuned in to art and design, even in everyday life, and that pushed me to draw and create new work all the time.
After graduation from Bunka College in Japan, I came back to join Bunka Fashion Academy in Bangkok as a fashion drawing and design teacher. I also had the opportunity to create illustrations for well-known fashion and design magazines, as well as an advertising poster for government organization in Thailand and I continued to do it.
The style of my artwork is to focus on portraits and figure in combination with abstract destruction techniques. I call this contrast in hamony style, and it has evolved naturally from my own aesthetic preferences and longstanding love of fashion and art. I like looking at faces in fashion photography, especially images with creative light-and- shadow contrasts. I am obsessed over the atmosphere of the images, the mood and the contours of the faces, whether male or female. I am very particular about face structures and my process of creating artworks is always asking myself what is the picture that I want to interpret and after finishing this process I will illustrate in my very own style with using my signature line and colour. A am influenced by abstract and expressionist art and I want my pictures to be exactly on the ‚story line'.
